Within each of us exists several states of being: a light side, a dark side, and a space between the two known to medieval philosophers and astronomers as the Ether. It was believed that this same material also filled the region of the universe above the terrestrial sphere—a conviction that Ether was itself filled with infinite depth and curiosities. This story is told through the balance of hand-lettered typography and filigree, with the top half representing a lighter and holier space while the bottom half is more dark and hellacious. This is a salut to the multidimensional nature within all of us as well as an acknowledgment to our vast complexities.
