Impermanence Chandelier

I designed this chandelier in honor of my late mother, Marilynn, who was the embodiment of light. The rings are illuminated from the inside out to remind us that even within darkness, there is always light. The rings of the chandelier represent the seven stages of grief; the final ring is white as it represents hope and acceptance. The name is derived from one of the essential doctrines of Buddhism, Impermanence—everything is always transient and ever changing, nothing is ever permanent.
